Fitness Trainer

I have been providing individuals with personalized workout programs since 1994. During this time, I have picked up a wide variety of techniques to get people motivated and keep them motivated. I have also taken endless hours of courses to ensure that my clients get trained safely and effectively, and I have honed my programming to give each person a workout that will not only meet their fitness goals but exceed them - all while having fun! I love what I do and I feel it reflects in my training style.

In addition to being certified as an Advanced Fitness Leader in Personal Training, Group Training and Senior’s Fitness by the governing body in fitness in British Columbia (BCRPA), I am also a certified BOSU Instructor, Stability Ball Trainer, TRX Trainer, experienced runner and triathlete and a certified Sport’s Nutritionist. I maintain my current status for CPR and first aid and I mentor new trainers as they begin their journey in the fitness field. As you can see, in addition to loving what I do, I also take what I do seriously – very seriously.

During my career, I have had the pleasure of being named the recipient of a number of awards including Best in Fitness and Entrepreneur of the Year. I have written on the topic of health and fitness for a number of local and international magazines and newspapers, and I have produced and starred in my own workout television program.

I have worked with people from the ages of 8 to 80, from the cardiac rehab patient, to the weekend warrior, to the middle-aged woman trying to re-claim her body. Each one of these people has touched my life in a special way, and I make it a point to return that favour and touch theirs with the support, respect and motivation that they need to reach their goals.
